This table, the Urban Forester, was made from a single Red Elm (urban tree) from the San Francisco Bay Area using our furniture construction hardware. It was designed to show world mayors attending the United Nations Green Cities Expo how their cities could benefit by turning fallen city trees into people and environment friendly lumber and furniture products. Mayors were amazed to learn how quickly salvaged urban trees could be made into lifelong furniture with out first drying the newly milled lumber. They were even more amazed to learn how fallen trees in their cities could become a revenue source rather than an expense. Evermore hardware only kits will be available soon for those eager to build their own.
